September 10, 2009 First Projects

So, here are the first two projects. My laundry room counter and the refrigerator. Not tooo glamourous, but already in the first week after they've been clean I have really enjoyed the lack of clutter. The before pic of the laundry room is a pic of all the stuff that was on the counter. I put it on my kitchen table to sort. And the before pic of the fridge does nothing to describe the nauseating condition I had to navigate to get to the finished product. I don't think I've ever encountered more varieties of mold and food in such varied stages of decay. Maybe "Cleanliness is next to Godliness", since who could even think about higher beings when you are experiencing such olifactory assault.

My First Post September 1, 2009

So, I couldn't be one-upped by my little sister. She has a blog, so I figured I probably should, too. Plus, we both decided it was our chance of a lifetime to organize our homes and wanted a way to document and motivate each other. Part of this blog is to share the movement from chaos to order that will be happening in my home. Nothing amazing, but hopefully this will keep me motivated until the job is done.
